WOW: Inscription Guide

Inscription??
Added with patch 3.02, “Echoes of Doom,” the Inscription profession allows its practitioners, called "scribes," to improve the spells and abilities of players’ characters, such as ornamental a rogue's Backstab capacity to deal more damage to stunned targets, or allowing a priest’s Circle of Healing to heal one more target.

Scribes can also aid enchanters by permitting them to sell their enchantments directly on the Auction House, or help other characters by creating enhancing scrolls like Scroll of Strength.

All in all, inscription is a very useful profession for the benefits a scribe brings to his friends and himself. This profession can be chosen by any character of any race or class

Getting Started As A Scribe
In order to get started as a scribe, you must first learn the profession from one of the many Inscription trainers scattered across the worlds. In Azeroth, Horde and Alliance scribes can stop in at any of their faction's capital cities and ask a guard for guidelines to the nearest Inscription trainer. In Outland, aspiring and practicing scribes for the Horde should visit Neferatti in Thrallmar to difference of opinion up on their skills. Scribes among the Alliance should speak with Michael Schwan in Honor Hold in order to proceed in the art.

Scribes should visit their trainer often as they progress in the art of Inscription. Once he has surpassed his current trainer's skill, the trainer will tell him where to go for further study. Lastly, when getting ongoing as a scribe, a character should not neglect to procure a Virtuoso Inking Set from an Inscription Goods vendor. Without this item in his account, a scribe will be unable to progress in his craft!

The Lexicon of Power

You will find this mysterious floating book next to the inscription trainers. You can also ask the guards in any major city where to find the nearest Lexicon of Power. Whenever a character wants to inscribe a glyph onto his glyph sheet, whether it is one he bought from a scribe or made himself, he will need to be next to the Lexicon of Power in order to inscribe the glyph onto the glyph sheet of his spellbook. Inscribing the glyph works in much the same manner as adding a weapon coating, weightstone, or sharpening stone to a weapon in the character menu. But let’s learn a little more about glyphs.

Lastly, just as for enchanting or for gems, once a glyph is inscribe to the glyph sheet, it cannot be removed. However it can be overwritten with another glyph should the character wish to change his glyphs at a later date.

Glyphs: Major And Minor

Once a scribe has gathered his pigments, created his inks, and purchased his parchments, he can begin practicing his skill in scribing scrolls and glyphs. However, before a scribe can place a glyph on his spellbook or that of one of his friends, he should learn a little about the glyphs and the levels required to unlock them.

At level 15, a character's first Major and Minor glyphs are unlocked, allowing him to be enhanced by one Major Glyph and one Minor Glyph. At level 30, the character unlocks a second Major Glyph. Levels 50 and 70 bring him the last two Minor Glyphs and, at level 80*, he will unlock the final Major Glyph in his glyphs sheet.

*Level 80 will be attainable only after the release of Wrath of the Lich King.

Major Glyphs

Major Glyphs are glyphs which modify the mana cost, the cooldown, the duration of effect, or add an effect to a spell or ability. These glyphs, depending on the level, can require rare inks or expensive parchments, in addition to a higher level of Inscription.

If you want to see a complete list of the available glyphs, you can check them all in the Armory or go directly to this link.

Minor Glyphs

Inscription trainers will teach a promising scribe the skill "Minor Inscription Research." This skill can be used once per day to discover a Minor Glyph. Much as alchemists create potions, elixirs, or perform transmutes in order to discover new aspects of their profession, scribes will discover Minor Glyphs using this Research skill. Minor Glyphs can be used to enhance or modify a spell's effect or cost, but at a much lower degree than Major Glyphs. For example, one Minor Glyph for mages, Glyph of the Penguin, changes the effect of their Polymorph: Sheep spell to turn the target into a penguin.

As for Major Glyphs you can browse all available glyphs in the Armory.

Use of the Minor Inscription Research skill is currently the only method by which scribes can learn Minor Glyphs

Cards, Vellums, and Objects

While creating Major and Minor Glyphs is, perhaps, the most well-known ability a scribe possesses, scribes can also create Vellums which enchanters can use to cast their Armor or Weapon enchants upon, allowing them to sell enchants on the Auction House just as the other production professions can sell the results of their skills and labor. No longer will adventurers search in vain for the rare enchanter who, having overcome Morose and his friends, has mastered the Mongoose enchantment! And no longer will enchanters be condemned only to sell their skill when they can be physically present. With a Vellum, everyone benefits!

A scribe can also create small Darkmoon Faire decks from which they, or others, can get rewards. For more information about the Darkmoon Faire decks that scribes can create, check out our Darkmoon Faire rewards page.

Additional Information For Scribes

Gaining Levels In Inscription
Inscription up to the Artisan level (maximum skill 300) can be learned from:

* Feyden Darkin in Darnassus
* Jo'mah in Orgrimmar
* Elise Brightletter in Ironforge
* Poshken Hardbinder in Thunder Bluff
* Catarina Stanford in Stormwind
* Margaux Parchley in Undercity
* Thoth in The Exodar
* Zantasia in Silvermoon City

To learn Master Inscription (maximum skill 375), scribes must visit the following Outland trainers:

* Horde players should seek out Neferatti (Thrallmar, Hellfire Peninsula)
* Alliance players need to find Michael Schawn (Honor Hold, Hellfire Peninsula)

Inscribing For Fun And Profit
Beyond just scribing the Major Glyphs for characters, scribes can use their profession to earn gold. Here are some tips for how to maximize the profit from Inscription!

* Pick up herbalism: this will allow the scribe to gather his own herbs and create his own pigments. Also, scribes can sell pigments on the Auction House to those who did not pick up herbalism.
* Create Vellums: Enchanters will want vellums. These items will allow them to sell their enchants on the Auction House.
* Combo with Enchanting: if a scribe already has high level Enchanting, he can team up with an herbalist and sell his own enchants on the Auction House.
* Scrolls, scrolls, scrolls! Many high-end profession recipes require the use of level V scrolls to create items. As scribes can create scrolls whenever they like, this can supply a steady stream of income for them.
* Minor Inscription Research: Use this skill whenever it is available. Some of the Minor Glyphs are very highly sought-after!

WOW Wrath of Lich King

It has been five years since the successor apparent to the throne of Lordaeron left into the frozen wastes of Northrend; five years since Arthas’ unholy union with Ner’zhul gave rise to one of the most influential, twisted, and evil beings who ever walked the face of the world; five years of uneasy, foreboding silence. Still, the far-reaching darkness many feared would spread outward from Northrend’s shores never came... until now. The Lich King has risen, and his forces are on the move. As the prospects for peace darken and the clouds of the approaching storm fill the skies, the heroes of Azeroth rally beneath their battle-worn banners to face the Scourge once again. Soon the world will learn what it means to incur the wrath of its one true king....

You have braved the fires of Blackrock Mountain, ventured deep into the nightmarish hives of the qiraji and returned victorious, faced down the demons of the Burning Legion, and brought the Betrayer himself to justice. Yet your greatest adventure has only just begun. World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King adds a host of epic content to the obtainable game world. You will achieve soaring levels of power, explore a vast new continent, battle other high-level heroes to decide the fate of Azeroth, and much, much more.

Hero Class: Death Knight
Play as the game’s first hero class, the fearsome death knight, and authority the power of blood, frost, and unholy runes. In addition, every class in the game can learn powerful new spells and abilities of their own, as the level cap has been raised to 80.

The Undiscovered Country: Northend
Beyond the familiar shores of Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms, the frozen wastes of Northrend beckon. Prepare to discover a massive new continent even bigger than Outland.

Once More Unto The Breach
If you thought that the Lich King would be the only contrasting force you’d encounter in Northrend, think again. In Wintergrasp, the Horde and Alliance clash in intense open-world PvP warfare with fully destructible buildings, siege vehicles, and never-before-seen levels of carnage and mayhem. For players who prefer the more prearranged style of Battlegrounds, Strand of the Ancients offers an exciting new PvP challenge of its own.

Massive New Dungeons

Wrath of the Lich King builds upon the innovations that The Burning Crusade brought to World of Warcraft’s dungeon and raid game. In accumulation to heroic 5-person dungeons, all raids now come in both 10-person and 25-person varieties, each offering independent challenges and rewards. Northrend’s rich history serves as the backdrop for encounters that are more intense, more fun, and more epic than anything that’s come before.

Barbershop
Get a stylish new haircut for your trip to Northrend, or grow a beard to help keep your face warm in the cold climate. You can now modify select facial features in the recently opened barbershops around Azeroth and Outland.

New Profession: Inscription
You’ve had a few weeks to check out inscription in the Echoes of Doom patch, but there are still many glyphs and ingredients left to discover in Wrath of the Lich King. If you’d like to learn all there is to know about the new profession, head over to our new inscription page.

New Achievement
In addition to delving into the new quests, zones, and dungeons in Northrend, players will also be able to earn hundreds of new achievements in Wrath of the Lich King, along with new titles and other in-game rewards. Learn more on our achievements page.

WOW Skinning

Skinning 1 to 300 Guide by Highlander on EU-Terenas

You can use it as a fast track guide. Just ignore the "Your level" bit. I would seriously suggest that you wait until your level 50+ before trying this though, as it'll will takes you ages to complete at lower levels (unless of course you have a couple of level 50+ friends who don’t mind grinding mobs for you to skin). I've tried to list mobs that should be yellow or orange for your skinning level. If they are green, move onto the next zone listed.

Please note that even if a mob is red/orange to you, that this DOES NOT guarantee that you'll get a skill up. It's more likely, but not to be expected every time.

Skinning 300 to 375 Guide by Highlander on EU-Terenas

Going from 300 to 375 is dead easy, but its going to take you as long, if not longer than it took to go from 1 to 300. Even if your skinning orange mobs, you'll only get a skill up every 5-7 successful skins.

Realistically, you could level up to 375 on the mobs around Hellfire Peninsula, but it's not the most efficient way. The following is what I believe to be a more efficient way to level it up.

301 - 310
Hellboars around Hellfire Citadel in Hellfire Peninsula.

310 - 330
Ravagers around Falcon Watch in Hellfire Peninsula.

330 - 350
Talbuk's and Clefthoofs all over Nagrand. (you could just as easily continue skinning to 375 here if you want, as if wont take that much longer, than going to Netherstorm and skinning Drakes)

350 - 375
Netherdrakes around Stormspire in Netherstorm or around Netherwing Fields in Shadowmoon Valley or Raptors and Wind Serpents around Blades Edge Mountains.

WOW Mining

Things you should know before choosing to become a Miner:

If your primary profession is either Blacksmithing or Engineering, Mining is almost a requirement. Both professions require materials that can only be acquired through Mining. You could choose to not get up Mining as your second profession, but accordingly you'll have to spend an not practical amount of money on the materials you need to raise your Blacksmithing and Engineering.

Mining is a great way to make money compared to some other professions. Unless you plan to take up Leatherworking, Mining is a good profession to judge. The only way to make large amounts of money throughout mining is by selling Arcane Crystals and Blood of the Mountain in the Auction House. Both of those items are tremendously unusual however, and you shouldn't become a miner solely to farm them.

Your success with Mining will be based mainly on how lucky you are. I know people who have found 2 Arcane Crystals in one Rich Thorium Vein, while I've personally only found 1 in my whole profession as a miner. You can make a straight amount of money by advertising the normal ore you find in any vein. However, how much money you make will be based largely on your server's population. If you play on a high inhabitants server, it will be a lot harder to find veins, and the prices for your ore won't be as high as they are on other servers.

Unlike other professions, Mining is based largely on fortune. If you're the kind of person who loves to risk, Mining is definitely for you. You never know if that next vein could hold a expensive gem, which adds a exciting and addictive quality to it. I've personally stayed up far past my bedtime on several nights, because you never know...that next Rich Thorium Vein may have an Arcane Crystal inside.

The Basics of Mining
(If you're already a miner, skip this section)

First, you need to train in Mining.

Below is a list of all the Mining trainers:

Horde Trainers:

Makaru - Located in the center of the Valley of Honor in Orgrimmar.

Brek Stonehoof - Located on the western edge of the center plateau in Thunder Bluff.

Brom Killian - Located to the south of the bridge leading to the War Quarter in the Undercity.

Alliance Trainers:

Geofram Bouldertoe - Located in the Deepmountain Mining Guild in Ironforge.

Gelman Stonehand - Located on the western side of the Dwarven District in Stormwind.

Yarr Hammerstone - Located on the eastern edge of Kharanos in Dun Morogh.

Dank Drizzlecut - Located slightly north of Gol'Bolar Quarry in Dun Morogh.

Brock Stoneseeker - Located on the southwest side of Thelsamar in Loch Modan.

Kurdram Stonehammer - Located in the northern area of Auberdine in Darkshore.

Matt Johnson - Located in the northern section of Darkshire in Duskwood.

Once you've become a miner, buy a Mining Pick, and start mining copper in one of the zones listed in the Advanced section of this guide. Before you start mining, don't forget to turn on the Find Minerals ability. This capability will make nearby mineral veins appear on your minimap as a yellow dot. When you've collected some ore, smelt it into bars at any forge. Smelting your ore will make it more valuable and allow you to use it when making items for Blacksmithing or Engineering.

After awhile, the Copper Veins will turn grey, and you'll no longer be able to increase skill by mining them. When this happens, you'll need to move on to the next tier of ore. Check the lists in the Advanced section of this guide to see which kind of ore you need to mine at your skill level, and how much skill you need to smelt it. You will stop ahead skill points when you reach the maximum skill level for your rank, so make sure you talk to a trainer when you've maxed out your skill.

Skill Requirement for Each Rank:

Apprentice - 0
Journeyman - 50
Expert - 125
Artisan - 200

Location and Purpose of Special Veins:

Rethban Ore - Any Copper or Tin mine in Redridge Mountains will drop these randomly.

Rethban Ore's for a quest given by Foreman Oslow, in Redridge Mountains. He should be located at the southeast side of Lakeshire. This isn't really related to mining, since mobs will drop it just as frequently, but I added it by request.

Incendicite - Wetlands, in the cave directly north of Dun Algaz on the map.

Incendicite is the objective of the alliance quest Search for Incendicite, which is given to you by Pilot Stonegear in Dun Morogh.

Indurium - Inside Uldaman, in the various tunnels.

Indurium is the objective of the neutral quest Indurium Ore given by Pozzik at the race track in Thousand Needles.

Lesser Bloodstone - Arathi Highlands, in the northeast corner of the map.

Lesser Bloodstone Ore is the objective of the alliance quest Favor for Krazek, given by Krazek in Booty Bay.

Dark Iron - In Blackrock Depths and Molten Core, deposits can be found in any of the numerous caverns.

Dark Iron serves 2 purposes. You can either smelt it to create bars for any of the Blackrock Depths exclusive recipes, or you can turn it in to Lokhtos Darkbargainer in the bar in Blackrock Depths to increase your Thorium Brotherhood faction. When you get your Thorium Brotherhood faction to Honored and above, Lokhtos will sell you some really nice crafting recipes. Before you get too excited about that prospect, read the paragraph below about smelting Dark Iron Ore.

To create one Dark Iron Bar, you need 8 Dark Iron Ore, and you can only smelt Dark Iron at the Dark Forge, which is located near the portal to Molten Core. Before you can smelt it, you need to learn how to smelt Dark Iron Ore from Gloom'rel deep in Blackrock Depths in the 7 Ghosts room. He'll teach you how to smelt it if you give him 20 Gold Bars, 10 Truesilver Bars, and 2 Star Rubies. You can only make items that require Dark Iron Bars at the Black Anvil, which is on the other side of the instance where Lord Incendius is located.

Gems found in each type of Vein:

Copper - Malachite, Shadowgem, Tigerseye
Tin - Jade, Shadowgem, Lesser Moonstone, Moss Agate, Blood Shard(can only be mined in the Barrens, used for a quest)
Silver - Shadowgem, Lesser Moonstone, Moss Agate
Iron - Aquamarine, Jade, Lesser Moonstone, Citrine
Gold - Jade, Lesser Moonstone, Citrine
Mithril - Aquamarine, Citrine, Black Vitriol, Star Ruby
Truesilver - Aquamarine, Citrine, Star Ruby
Dark Iron - Black Diamond, Blood of the Mountain, Black Vitriol
Small Thorium - Large Opal, Blue Sapphire, Star Ruby, Black Vitriol
Rich Thorium - Arcane Crystal, Azerothian Diamond, Blue Sapphire, Huge Emerald, Large Opal, Star Ruby

Most gems you find are only used in crafting, and can be bought or sold in the AH cheap.

However, a few gems are extremely rare and therefore valuable:

Arcane Crystals - Anywhere from 20-40g depending on your server. Drop rate is approximately 3%, although their droprate was reportedly changed in the last patch.

Azerothian Diamonds - Anywhere from 40-100g depending on your server. Drop rate is approximately 1%.

Blood of the Mountain - Anywhere from 50-150g dpending on your server. Drop rate is approximately 1%.

Tips

-Use Thottbot if you need any information regarding Mining or just about anything else.

http://www.thottbot.com/

-If you play on a PvP server, stay out of popular zones when trying to raise your skill. Stay away from Hillsbrad Foothills, Stranglethorn Vale, and Arathi Highlands unless you're questing there.

-Try to avoid Silithus when you're looking for Rich Thorium Veins. Most of them are underground, and you have to fight through numerous elite mobs to reach them.

-If you're looking for Rich Thorium Veins, try looking in Un'Goro Crater, Burning Steppes, Eastern Plaguelands, and Azshara first. Those zones seem to have the most Thorium veins, and they're easy to navigate.

-If you can't gain anymore skill in a zone, don't go to a zone above your level looking for the next tier of ore. If you go to a zone that's too high level for you, you'll waste a lot of time running back to your corpse. Get a few levels, then move on to the next zone.

-Download the Gatherer and the Repository from:
http://norgs.internutter.org/gatherer.htm and
http://gather.reet.org/

This addon is extremely helpful, and it'll save you a lot of time.

-Don't give up if it takes you a long time to find Arcane Crystals or Azerothian Diamonds. It's completely random whether they drop or not, so it may take awhile before you get your first one. Also, don't forget that they only drop from Rich Thorium Veins, so don't expect to see one drop off a small one.

325 - 340

360 - 375
Imbued Netherweave Tunic¹ (6 x Imbued Netherweave Bolts, 2 x Netherweb Spider Silk, 1 x Rune Thread each) x 15

¹Pattern is sold by Arrond in Shadowmoon Valley in limited supply. You need to have Scryers rep to be able to talk to him or be neutral with both Scryers and Aldors, but they are not BoP, so if your aligned with the Aldors, get someone else to buy them for you.

[i]N.B. If your an enchanter, disenchant all the Netherweave Robes and Tunics for Arcane Dust. If your not, get a friend or guild mate who is to do it for you. This will save you some money on Arcane Dust. Thanks to Chiyochan on EU-Bladefist for pointing this out :o)

350-355
Make any of the following to get to 355.

Really, just make 10-15 of whatever you have the materials and recipes for. There is so much choice and it's pointless me tying you down to just one or two choices.
They all take just one of each gem, so I won't bother listing all the mats as it's pretty obvious.

355-360
Your stuck with trying to get world drop recipes here. The two most common drops are as follows:

Living Ruby Pendant (4 x Khorium Bars, 1 x Mercurial Adamantite, 1 x Living Ruby) x 5
or
Thick Felsteel Necklace (2 x Felsteel Bars, 3 x Mercurial Adamantite) x 5

The Thick Felsteel Necklace is obviously the most desirable to get, as it's the cheapest to make. There are other recipes out there to fill this levelling gap, so if you happen to get one of those, use that instead.

360-365
The next bit requires being honoured with The Sha'tar:
Ring of Arcane Shielding (2 x Eternium Bars, 8 x Primal Mana) x 5
or
You could go and farm Vekh'nir Dreadhawk's in Blade's Edge Mountains and hope the following drops:
Khorium Band of Leaves (2 x Khorium Bars, 4 x Mercurial Adamantite, 3 x Primal Life) x 5

365-375
If your raiding Kharazan and you have a lot of Alchemist transmuting Diamonds, then use those to skill up the last 10 points. There's a 60min CD on making each one, but it's still fairly easy for a raid guild's Jewelcrafting to finish skilling up on. Otherwise your stuck with using rare world drop recipes again.

365-370
Embrace of the Dawn (2 x Eternium Bars, 4 x Mercurial Adamantite, 2 x Golden Draenite) x 5
This seems to be the most common recipe on the AH. It's not cheap, but if you don’t have anything else to skill up on, it's your best choice.
There are a few other rare world drop recipes that need 365 skill. So if you get any of those, then use them instead.

370-375
Of all the recipes available at 370. Probably the easiest to make is probably Figurine - Felsteel Boar, but that requires Lower City revered rep. So I'll list the next best ones in terms of rep.

Figurine - Talasite Owl (2 x Eternium Bars, 2 x Talasite, 4 x Primal Mana) x 5
Requires Sha'tar revered rep.
or
Figurine - Dawnstone Crab (4 x Khorium Bars, 2 x Dawnstones, 4 x Golden Draenite) x 5
Requires Honour Hold/Thrallmar revered rep.

Inscription Guide

New fresh information about the new Profession: Inscription. The most promising news is that Enchanters will be able to sell enchants on the AH with the help of an Inscriber!

* Inscriptors can create blank parchments, such as the Bleached Parchment seen in the picture. Each type of parchment works for one type of item to enchant -- armor, weapon, etc. Enchanters can cast enchantments on those parchments, to create, for instance, that Scroll of Enchant Cloak - Greater Defense. These scrolls can be listed on the AH, mailed, or traded like any other unbound item. The scrolls can be right-clicked by anyone to apply the enchantment to their own items.
* Spells will be enhanced by Glyphs, which will be created by inscribers and will be tradable.
* Glyphs have three sizes: Minor, Lesser, and Greater. Obviously Minor Glyps have smaller effects on spells and Greater Glyphs give the bigest upgrades to spells.

o Greater Glyphs provide major upgrades to spells. Examples that have been given are the addition of stuns or DoTs to spells, increased damage, or knockbacks.
o Lesser Glyphs provide upgrades to spells similar to Greater Glyphs, but are not as powerful.
o Minor Glyphs provide small upgrades, or cosmetic improvements. Examples that have been given are the removal of reagent requirements from spells, lowering spell costs, or changing spell graphics.

* There is an ability called Glyph Mastery that's categorized under Inscription which gives access to an additional Glyph slot for the inscriber, but it is unknown how this ability is attained. Maybe it's a specialization, like other professions have.
* Each character has six Glyph slots: two Minor, two Lesser, and two Greater. There is a screenshot below if you scroll down, that's the Glyph interface, available to every character. On the Glyph Interface, the larger circles with gold borders around them are for placement of Greater Glyphs, the large circles with no gold borders are for Lesser Glyphs, and the smaller circles are for Minor Glyphs.
* Runewords will be temporary Enchants like sharpening stones or mana oil for weapons. An example: [Runeword of Minor Magic]. We still don't know yet, that these will be inscriber-only, or if they will be tradable.
* Runes of Power will allow inscribers to cast extra spells, consuming ink to do so. We have only one example for this so far: [Runic Blast]

Wow Inscription Guide

There is severel actual examples of Glyphs:

* Demonic Runes (Rank 3, Greater): Permanently enchants your Fireball spells to inflict up to 50 additional Fire damage. Spells can only have one inscription.
* [Glyph of Moonfire] (Lesser): Empowers a Lesser Glyph to reduce the rage cost of your Demoralizing Roar by 20.
* [Glyph of Natural Force] (Greater): Empowers a Greater Glyph to avoid interruption caused by damage while casting your Wrath spells by 50%.
* [Glyph of the Penguin] (Minor): Empowers a Minor Glyph to cause your Polymorph: Sheep spell to turn the target into a baby penguin.
* [Glyph of Thorns] (Minor): Empowers a Minor Glyph to reduce the mana cost of your Thorns spells by %s1%.
* [Glyph of Wild Endurance] (Minor): Empowers a Minor Glyph to increase the duration of your Mark of the Wild and Gift of the Wild spells by 30 min.

Inscription looks a very cool new profession, and as I mentinoed in a previous post, you should stack low level herbs , if you are planning on to level Inscription.

Enchanting guide 1-110

This Enchanting guide is made to help you if Strange Dust is expensive on your server. You will be able to make some gold with this guide and you will be able to level your Enchanting with 0 cost from 1 to around 100.

Yesterday I needed an Enchanter character to disenchant a lot of the items I stacked up in my bank, so I picked up Enchanting profession for my Warlock, because I didn't realy played with this character since season 3 started and I wanted to make use of this character. I opened my Enchanting leveling guide 1-375, but then when I checked AH to buy [Strange Dust] I was shocked. It was 8g / stack, well It's not that I can't afford it, but seriously It used to be like 80 silver / stack.

I decided to not buy them from the AH, so here is what I have done. I picked up Tailoring with one of my alt and I bought around 30 stack of [Linen Cloth].

[Linen Cloth] sells for between 25 and 50 silver on my realm, so the 30 stack cost me roughly 12 Gold.

Now before I continue this Enchanting guide, you have to realize that you need at least a character with level 5 or higher, else you won't be able to pick up a new profession. You can level an alt character in like 20-30 minutes if you don't already have one. Or you can pick up tailoring for your current character, if you don't have any other profession than Enchanting.

Now you need to level Tailoring to 30, that won't be hard because if you check out my Tailoring leveling guide, you can see that you have to make [Bolt of Linen Cloth] first, before you can make any Tailoring item.

30 stack of [Linen Cloth] is 600 [Linen Cloth] and when you turn all of these into Bolts it's 300 [Bolt of Linen Cloth], I am sure that you will reach Tailoring skill of 30 while you are making these.

Now you have 300 [Bolt of Linen Cloth], and propably you are thiking about WTF I am supposed to do with this many Bolts?! Well I can tell you, you will make 100 [Brown Linen Robe]. Make sure you have a lot of spaces in your bags, because it will make this easier.

Stop making these when you have only 1 bag space left. Open up your spellbook, and drag your Disenchant spell to your Action bar. If you bind it to any key, you will Disechant these Robes a lot faster. Or you can just replace one of your already binded spell to disenchant until you are done with this.

When I disenchanted every Robe I ended up with 120 Strange Dust and 40 Lesser Magic Essence. I think it's pretty good for 12 Gold.

I had Enchanting skill of 58 or something at this time.

* 58-90
35 x [Enchant Bracer: Minor Health] - 35 Strange Dust

* 90-100
10 x [Enchant Bracer: Minor Stamina] - 30 Strange Dust

* 100-101
1 x [Runed Silver Rod] - 1 Silver Rod, 6 Strange Dust, 3 Greater Magic Essence, 1 Runed copper Rod

* 101-110
9 x [Greater Magic Wand] - 9 Simple Wood, 9 Greater Magic Essence

If you don't have that much Lesser Magic Essence, you can just continue to make [Enchant Bracer: Minor Stamina].

I had around 50 Strange Dust left, I sold those at AH for 17 gold and I ended up with around 2 gold profit, while I leveled my Enchanting to 110.

This method is also a good money maker at lower levels. You can Disenchant as many robe as you want, and sell the dusts/essences. Just make sure you don't flood the market with too many, because then prices will go down.

Now you can just go check out my Enchanting Guide and continue skilling up your Enchanting.

WOW Expert Alchemist

Apprentice Alchemist
1-60
Minor Healing Potion
1x Silverleaf1x Peacebloom 1x Empty Vial
The cheap potential potion to make with the easiest/cheapest to obtain items. There is no cause not to obtain advantage of this.
Important, SAVE all of these. critically! You'll be use them again shortly.

60-75
Lesser Healing Potion
1x Minor Healing Potion1x Briarthorn1x Empty Vial.
Create fifteen of these then trains for Journeyman Alchemy.

Journeyman Alchemist

75-105
Lesser Healing Potion
1x Minor Healing Potion1x Briarthorn1x Empty Vial.
After you train to become a Journeyman Alchemist you require continuing making these as you already have the Minor Healing Potion from previous to, so it's pretty efficient.
You may want to place them on the Auction House, lowbies in the BGs like them for their cheapness.

105-110
Elixir of Wisdom
1x Mageroyal2x Briarthorn 1x Empty Vial.
You might not need to do this, you might get lucky with your Lesser Healing Potions and not need to use this. Don't struggle to force it though, these should be Orange and give you a point on each design.

110-150
Healing Potion
1x Briarthorn1x Bruiseweed1x Leaded Vial.
This force take you all the way to expert and these also sell type of well on the Auction House for lowbies in the bg. When finished, train to turn out to be an Expert Alchemist.
Expert Alchemist

150-155
Strong Troll's Blood
2x Briarthron2x Bruiseweed1x Leaded Vial.
Not that cost efficient, but patches you up until 155 when you can create Greater Healing Potions.

155-195
Greater Healing Potion
1x Kingsblood1x Liferoot 1x Leaded Vial
Once yet again healing potions reign supreme.

195-225
Elixir of Greater Defense
1x Wild Steelbloom1x Goldthorn 1x Leaded Vial.
When you achieve 225 you'll require to train to become an Artisan Alchemist. You'll keep making these after a tiny while. Their need of only two herbs, like healing potions, makes it a supreme choice.

Artisan Alchemist

225-235.
Elixir of Greater Defense.
1x Wild Steelbloom1x Goldthorn 1x Leaded Vial.
Continued from start.

235-265
Elixier of Detect Undead
1x Arthas' Tears1x Crystal Vial.
Sadly, these don't put up for sale that well unlike healing potions. However, it only requires ONE herb! One! Arthas' Tears aren't that uncommon either, bonus.

265-285
Superior Mana Potion
2x Sungrass2x Blindweed1x Crystal Vial
These kind of sell, but mana potions have never been that large. Anyway, pretty decent cost for the amount of points you get.

290-300
Major Healing Potions
2x Golden Sansam1x Mountain Silversage1x Crystal Vial
Cheap for the 10 points you need. Both this and the preceding Major Mana Potion come from recipes or can just be buy from the trainer in Outland. At 300 head to Outland.
Master Alchemist

300-305
Major Mana Potion
3x Dreamfoil2x Icecap1x Crystal Vail
Expensive, but useful for our own purposes.

The Burning Crusade

305-315
Elixir of Major Strength
1x Mountain Silversage1x Felweed1x Imbued Vial.
You now need to get to 315, or Volatile Healing Potions. Golden Sansam is GENERALLY cheaper then Mountain Silversage due to how ordinary Golden Sansam is.

315-330
Volatile Healing Potion
1x Felweed1x Golden Sansam1x Imbued Vial
Super cheap and determination get you 15 points.

330-340
Super Healing Potion
2x Dreaming Glory1x Felweed1x Imbued Vial
The last contemptible potion you'll find off your trainer. Enjoy these ten point as it'll be the last of the cost efficient leveling.

340-355
Super Mana Potion
2x Netherbloom1x Felweed1x Imbued Vial
This recipe is on three vendors that have a slow respond time. One vendor is in Blade's Edge Mountains and the extra two are in the Horde/Alliance Zangarmarsh towns. If you can get it, that will pretty cheap points.
Honestly, if you get the recipe, I'd obtain it all the way to 370 when it turn grey.

350-375
Transmutes
The cheap way to get 375 is just transmute your method there. At 364 the Alchemist's Stone is still Orange, so there is a free point there. seeing as transmutes do you have a HIGH recool time you can create other potions, like at 360 the Fel Mana Potion but it's a drop. Really, most good recipes past 350 are now drops or cooldown vendors.
I suggest taking Super Mana Potions as distant as possible then transmuting the last five points. However, when you reach 360 you can make the entire Major x Protection Potions and consequently have completed Alchemy. At 365 you get two more potions, but that's it. So your main goal would be to get to 365 (the last two drooped recipes) and then just let anything you make/transmute take you to 375

WOW First Aid 1-375

There isn’t a class that should let First Aid slip by them…but many, especially healers do. First Aid is an indispensable skill that can literally save a raid from a wipe. If you’ve slacked off don’t worry you can always buy all the materials now to level up your First Aid. If you are as broke as a lvl 4 NOOB check this site out and quit asking people to borrow you money.
First Aid is a secondary profession, meaning anyone and everyone can and should have it. It is extremely helpful in both PvE and PvP, as you can almost always find time to heal yourself in both situations. First aid is also relatively easy to powerlevel. Here is how to get from 1-375 in first aid.

First you'll need the materials. Here are the minimums & recommended:

Zoldaman's Cooking Guide

Zoldaman's Cooking Guide -or- This is Disgusting, Please Don't Make Me Eat It

Cooking is an easy skill to level very quickly and cheaply, with a little planning. As most people won't be maxing out their skill, this guide will just focus on how to get your skill up to a reasonable level, quickly and cheaply, with very little effort. If you are leveling up an alt, you won't even have to do much in the way of farming for parts, just solo for exp in common zones to get what you need. Having some skill in cooking is worthwhile as it saves you downtime while soloing and gives you a way to top off your health bar while the casters in the party med up, without costing anyone mana. Also, many of the dishes give you a stats boost for a few minutes, often to spirit and stamina.

Our plan is to hunt mostly in Alliance zones that drop animal parts that are common drops from very common mobs. If you are cooking while you are leveling, then these mobs will also give you exp., making this a very worthwhile venture. It's also important to pick recipes that use few and common ingredients. For example "Westfall Stew" and "Crab Cake" both turn green at 115. But, the stew requires drops from three different mobs, while the cakes require a common drop from a single mob. We will save a lot of time killing crabs as fast as they spawn up and down the coast, instead of trying to get equal drops from three different mobs.

So, let's get started. A good source of recipe information is Allakhazam's Trade Skills list, if you want to check into a recipe before buying it. Assuming you are doing this with a new alt or main that has a few levels under his or her belt (and is out of the noob zone), we'll start our guide in Westfall. Before we can start baking crispy delights in the golden glow of a campfire, we'll need to fly to Stormwind and chat with Stephen Ryback in the Old Town at the Pig & Whistle Tavern , then come back to Westfall. Make sure that you let Stephen get you started in cooking and also learn how to make all of the green recipes, as you never know when they will come in handy. This is a quick trip, since there is a griff guy right by Sentinel Tower. We will have to stop by and see Stephen again when our skill hits 75, to advance to the next level of cooking.

Now, our first dish will be roasted boar meat. So, go forth and cleanse Westfall of Goretusks. Save the Chunks of Boar Meat, Boar Ribs and Goretusk Livers as well, since we will be needing all of them soon. The meat stacks up to sets of ten, so keep killing the Goretusks until you have six or seven stacks in your backpack. Once you get all of these stacks of boar meat, wander back towards Sentinel Tower. Just south of the tower, across the road from the griff guy, is a campfire you can use. Stand near it and go to your cooking tradeskill option. Now, we are going to make roasted boar meat until it turns green, which is around cooking skill lvl 60. Since it costs us almost nothing to make most recipes, I'll even make the green ones, if I have the parts, since it is still possible to skill up off of them. Why waste a stack of meat or eggs or liver that isn't going to sell for much anyway, when it might mean an extra skill point or two? Besides, some of the completed dishes sell for more to vendors than the raw ingredients, so you get a few silver for your efforts. If you vendor most of the food you make, it will pretty much cover the cost of your cooking adventure.

Once roasted boar meat isn't worth the effort anymore, swing by the Saldean Farm, north of the Tower, and talk to Salma Saldean. She will give you a quest for Goretusk Liver Pie in exchange for eight of your livers. Well, not your character's liver, as he probably needs that, but eight of the ones from the Goretusks. Then you can click the recipe to learn it and go back to the campfire to make your second dish. Now, for the Goretusk Liver Pie, you need a vendor sold ingredient. The good news is that the NPC girl, standing right beside you at the fire, will sell you the Mild Spices that you need, five for 10 copper. We will be using these spices for the next few dishes, so don't be afraid to stock up if you want. So livers + mild spices = pie. Feel free to make pies until the recipe turns green, or you do from the smell of baking livers. Don't forget to fly back to Stormwind at cooking lvl 75 to chat with Stephen Ryback again so that you can keep leveling until your cooking skill hits 150. ( He will also let you learn some more recipes, so pick up those at some point, especially Dry Pork Ribs, Crab Cake and Cooked Crab Claw. ) Then it's back to Westfall to make the rest of your pies and start on Dry Pork Ribs, which also require Mild Spices.

Once you just can't stand Westfall anymore or the exp isn't worth it, head to Darkshore. Now, this is where things get good. Basically, head up and down the coast killing crabs. The farther you get from town, the harder the crabs get. Save all of the crab meat and crab claws that drop while you kill, kill, kill in order to protect the good citizens of Auberdine from this non-agro mob. At level 22, I was still getting 100-150ish exp from the harder crabs towards the far ends of the beach, so don't be afraid to mow these guys down for a while. Once you have a few stacks of claws and meat, head back to the campfire in Auberdine and mix each one with "Mild Spices" to crank through cooking levels. Even though these will eventually turn green before skill lvl 150, It was so easy to farm them, I just stayed and maxed out my skill there.

Now, to get past cooking skill lvl 150, you need a book, the Expert Cookbook. It will cost you one gold in Ashenvale or one gold and a few silver at the AH. I got mine at the Auction House to save time. Since our easy recipes are now all green, we'll have to move again. There are really only two good choices that I know of. It's either Duskwood or the Wetlands. If you go to Duskwood, you will be using the Lean Wolf Flank drop with mild spices to make Lean Wolf Steaks. A slightly more expensive option is collecting raptor eggs in the Wetlands to combine with the more expensive Hot Spices to make a Curiously Tasty Omelet. You can even get the Omelet recipe from a quest (Ormer's Revenge) at the excavation site in the Wetlands if you don't want to buy it in Stormwind. Either one of these will get your skill up close to 200 and now you have a few stacks of an item that heals over 500 health and gives you a 6 point boost to stamina and spirit. Not bad for a couple of days worth of work.
